Get Smart: The Electric Mercedes Benz
Daimler CEO Dieter Zetsche recently reported that there are plans to release an electric Mercedes in 2010 that is based off the company’s Smart car. Many automakers have been recently stepping up there game in the electric car race as oil prices rise and new global warming reports surface daily. Automakers Nissan, GM and Subaru have all announced plans for releasing electric cars within the next few years. Unfortunately, many of these electric cars have a limited range. For city drivers these compact vehicles are an ideal solution for quietly maneuvering the congested city streets while eliminating harmful emissions.
