GET TO THE (Mercedes-Benz) CHOPPER!
Ever wonder what a helicopter would look like if Mercedes-Benz designed it? Probably something like the Eurocopter EC145. Sadly, Arnold Schwarzenegger was too busy taking care of his mistress and lovechild to make the debut and scream out that famous Predator line.
World Car Fans has more info: The EC145 “Mercedes-Benz Style” helicopter has been unveiled at the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition 2011 (EBACE) in Geneva. The flying Benz was built by aviation group Eurocopter, which partnered with Mercedes-Benz design to create the interior space of this unique helicopter, destined for a European customer.
The interior design was made to augment the helicopter’s luxury-class travel offering and features many design cues from Mercedes-Benz including the use of woods and ambient lighting. The seats are also fixed onto rails but can be moved or removed depending on needs. The cabin can be configured to seat up to 8 passengers.
The design was created at the Mercedes-Benz Advanced Design Studio in Como, Italy.
