Mercedes F700 Concept
Mercedes is working on a new line of research vehicles – which may one day turn into the new E-Class (or an F-Class) of models.This F700 Research Vehicle will debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
In an interview with AutoCar, Mercedes’ chief designer, Gordon Wagener, said “We want to elevate our design towards art and if any company can do it Mercedes can.” He added that the concept will be a “long and exaggerated” showpiece which is not intended to foreshadow any production model. Despite this, rumors seem to suggest the concept will hint at the next-generation CLS.
